Why hello there!
I’m Ruth Anne Aricheta, a product designer based in Orange County, California. With a background in Psychology, I have always been a naturally curious person and loved studying the human mind so learning about why people act and think the way they do had always been an interest of mine.
As a UX Designer, I draw on my background experience of being an ABA behavioral interventionist for children with Autism which makes me unique because working with clients to help them develop verbal and receptive skills in turn developed my ability to empathize, collaborate, and problem solve. I had to be quick on my feet to develop solutions and apply that to UX by being able to immediately analyze user behavior, pinpoint causes that cannot be seen by the human eye, and present a list of design solutions to help solve user problems and create positive user experiences.
I am an individual who loves to do it all and strives for excellence. If I am not at my desk determinedly working, you can find me at a court shooting hoops, in front of a mirror freestyle dancing to a 2000s R&B song, at home dressing my dog in sweaters, or in the kitchen trying new recipes I found in my collection of cookbooks.
